Bald Hills Pinot Noir 2005/06
A small vineyard producing a very exclusive wine this Pinot Noir has much to commend it. The 2005 was heavily garlanded winning awards from both Decanter (best Pinot Noir) and the International Wine Challenge (best red wine).
Most importantly of all it is a delight to drink. Aromatic with a floral and cherry nose, with enough tannin and acidity to mean that it will evolve in the cellar. Grant Taylor has made a wine that can truly be called triumphant.
