Le Clos Jordanne Pinot Noir Le Grand Clos 2006
The ‘Grand Clos’ in the name hints at ‘Grand Cru’ and the winemakers have good cause to be so confident. This wine is complex yet subtle on the nose with notes of oriental spice and cherry. In the mouth it is a revelation, really mouthwatering yet the acidity is not out of balance with the juicy, savoury blackberry flavours. Fantastic length.
