These wines represent terrific value and a different take on Pinot Noir.  The La Grille is a steal at £5.99 with real Pinot Noir character.  The Beltrame is a fruity wine ideal for drinking without food (a TV wine?).  The Vignoble Guillaume is an amazingly complex wine for a price you couldn't get from a premium-region,
Europe is overlooked as a source of affordable Pinots.  As these wines are produced by Pinot enthusiasts in carfefully selected vineyards and there is no question of ‘paying for the name’, they offer a great introduction to Pinot for the curious drinker.
