Serge Mathieu Brut Rose Champagne
The Mathieu family produce a grower’s Champagne, this means they grow the grapes for and vinify their own wine, unlike most big brands who buy in their grapes from growers. The result of this is that with the tonnage of grapes produced is less of an issue and they are able to grow the vines with a more natural approach than most of their neighbours.
The result of carefully grown Champagne without a brand marketing budget? A Fantastic value wine.
Bright salmon in colour with raspberry on the nose and palate. Very effervescent in the mouth and somehow very romantic.
